S2Media™ prepared Tryptic Soy Broth (TSB) is a general-purpose, non-selective liquid medium for the cultivation and recovery of a broad range of aerobic and facultative microorganisms. Casein and soybean peptones provide essential nitrogen, amino acids, and peptides, while dextrose supplies a readily available energy source to support microbial growth. TSB is widely used for sterility testing, microbial enrichment, growth promotion, and microbiological quality control and is specified in numerous standardized microbiological methods.
