S2Media prepared Tryptic Soy Agar w/Lecithin and Tween® 80 (TSA w/LT) is a non-selective, nutrient-rich culture medium. TSA w/LT is intended for the isolation and recovery of microorganisms from sanitized surfaces and environmental samples. Lecithin and Tween® 80 neutralize residual antimicrobial activity from quaternary ammonium compounds and certain preservatives, minimizing preservative carryover that may inhibit microbial recovery. The medium is well suited for environmental monitoring and sanitation verification of equipment, containers, work surfaces, and controlled manufacturing areas. Tryptic Soy Agar w/Lecithin and Tween® 80 is not intended for the diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans.
