S2Media™ 2x Tryptic Soy Broth (TSB), Double Strength
S2Media™ prepared 2x Tryptic Soy Broth (2x TSB) is a concentrated, general-purpose, non-selective liquid medium for the cultivation and recovery of a broad range of aerobic and facultative microorganisms. The double-strength formulation provides increased concentrations of casein and soybean peptones, dextrose, and other medium components, allowing the medium to achieve approximately standard-strength TSB when combined with an equal volume of liquid sample or diluent. 2x TSB is well suited for microbial enrichment, growth promotion, sterility-related applications, and microbiological quality control procedures requiring addition of larger sample volumes.
