CHROMagar™ Vibrio is a selective chromogenic culture medium for the isolation, detection, and differentiation of clinically significant Vibrio species, including Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Vibrio vulnificus, and Vibrio cholerae. Designed for food, environmental, and clinical testing, the medium utilizes chromogenic technology to facilitate rapid identification while improving recovery and differentiation compared to conventional selective media. These target species are naturally associated with marine environments and represent major foodborne and waterborne pathogens of public health significance.
