CHROMagar™ Streptococcus is a selective chromogenic culture medium for the isolation and differentiation of Streptococcus species from veterinary, environmental, and other complex sample matrices. Developed to support mastitis diagnostics, it enables direct differentiation of environmentally associated Streptococcus species commonly implicated in bovine intramammary infections, facilitating rapid pathogen recognition. Its selective formulation and chromogenic technology also improve recovery and differentiation of Streptococcus spp. from specimens containing heavy mixed microbial flora, supporting efficient downstream identification and characterization.
