CHROMagar™ Salmonella Plus, 5000mL
CHROMagar™ Salmonella Plus is a selective chromogenic culture medium for the isolation, differentiation, and presumptive identification of Salmonella species, including lactose-positive Salmonella, from food and environmental samples. The medium is ISO 6579-1 compliant and provides chromogenic differentiation to support rapid detection of Salmonella in food safety and quality control testing.

ISO 6579-1 Compliant: Detects both lactose-fermenting and non-lactose-fermenting Salmonella in accordance with ISO 6579-1 requirements.
Chromogenic Differentiation: Presumptive Salmonella produce intense mauve colonies, while Escherichia coli remain colorless, improving colony visibility and interpretation.
High Performance: Demonstrates 99% sensitivity for the detection of Salmonella, including lactose-positive strains.
Enhanced Specificity: Distinct chromogenic reactions reduce interference from background flora, improving recovery of target organisms and simplifying result interpretation.
